Written by Justo Valdez, this song is originally interpreted by the Sexteto Tabalá.
Originated from San Basilio de Palenque, the Sexteto Tabalá has been performing "Son Palenquero de Sexteto" for more than 70 years.
This musical genre is the result of the encounter between Afro-Colombian and Cuban workers in sugar cane fields of San Basilio de Palenque area at the beginning of the 20th century.
German producer Motin delivers a powerful uptempo, psychedelic afrohouse remix here, using all the potential of the original gaitas and voices on tight drums and percussions, and heavy sub bass.
